Ayb School Russian language teacher wins Pushkin contest

Kima Vaneskehyan, the Russian language teacher of the Ayb School, has been honored for developing the best methodology to study the works of legendary Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.

Our teacher is among the winners of the international contest for a quirky solution of putting Pushkin’s poems to rap to best present the verse and rhyme.

6000 teachers from 39 countries participated in the contest organized by the Moscow municipality and Russian Newspaper. The awarding ceremony will be held in September in Moscow, where Mrs. Vaneskehyan will also take a training course.
