Only 9th-grade students of the current academic year (those graduating from the basic school) as well as applicants from abroad are eligible for admission to Ayb High School.
For participation in Ayb High School application procedures, a non-refundable fee of AMD 12,000 is set. However, the fee might not be charged due to the social status of the applicant if a parent submits a relevant request.
To apply to Ayb High School, the following steps need to be completed:
Step 1
Register and participate in Doors Open Days together with your parents. Get familiarized with the school and ask your questions. Registration is possible here. Participation in Doors Open Days is mandatory.

Step 2
Take part in free-of-charge lessons that will help you get ready for the admission exams. Submission of applications for participation in consultative lessons before the start of the 2022-2023 academic year is over.
Step 3
Take an English proficiency test. The knowledge of English is a pre-condition for admission. To pass, you will need at least level A2. The deadline for registering for the English test is March 7.
Step 4
Complete the application form and submit it printed and signed to Ayb School, along with the other requested documents.
Step 5
Successfully pass 3 examinations, the most important part of the admission procedure.
Step 6
After passing the exams, you will participate in an interview, which is another important part of the admission process. It will be an interesting conversation with the members of the admission committee.
The admission to Ayb School takes place after the calculation of the overall band score of the exams and interview. The highest score for each exam and interview is 64.

The school doesn’t request any information about the applicant’s financial status during the entire admission period. Relevant documents should be submitted after admission and in case of applying for financial support only.

Admission Committee
Ayb High School Admission Committee is formed based on the decision of the Board of Trustees.
The admission committee might include members of the Board of Trustees of Ayb School and the Ayb Educational Foundation, representatives of donor communities of both Ayb School and the Ayb Educational Foundation, Ayb School administration, teaching staff, and members of the communities of mentors and alumni.
