Christmas Fair at Ayb

Though this year's winter had started with sunny weather, Ayb School was already in Christmas mood. The Christmas fair, which has become a tradition in Ayb, was held this year on December 2 and was organized by Ayb Alumni Club.

Students, graduates, teachers, employees, benefactors and, of course, parents of Ayb community gathered to have fun at Christmas fair. Handmade items, toys, jewelry and other gifts were sold this year also. The event started with Ayb Choir's Christmas songs.

In the yard, barbecue, desserts and sweets were served by the students. The whole territory of the school was decorated with a New Year theme. Almost 20 booths were installed in Building C. As usual, Armenian national dances were performed at the event.

The fair made everyone happy: kids found their entertainment in the “kids’ corner,” movie-lovers watched New Year’s films, and the presents at the fair found their owners.

The profit from the charity fair, 1 486 760 drams, will be completely used to purchase and install personal lockers for Building C. It should be noted that Ayb School needed 226 lockers and 9.5 million drams for acquiring them. The previous fundraising activities (including those of this year) organized for this purpose have raised 5 886 760 drams.

To complete the personal lockers' project, it is still necessary to collect 3 613 240 drams. Fundraising efforts for this purpose will continue in 2019. Thank you very much for your participation and support, and we wish you all a Happy New Year.
