Ayb becomes international SAT test center

Ayb School has become the international SAT test center in Armenia. Other SAT test centers include the American University of Armenia and UWC Dilijan College.

In fact, Ayb is the first educational facility in Armenia that has become an international test center. By joining the Armenian SAT map, Ayb School offers vast opportunities to numerous Armenian students, who frequently had to take the international exam in Georgia due to the overloading of the Armenian, centers.

The negotiations with the U.S. College Board were launched in 2019, however, the pandemic halted the operation of SAT test centers worldwide. In the post-COVID period, talks were resumed. Ayb’s application had complied with all the requirements of an international test center – academic, curriculum, physical premises, and grading opportunities.

Since August 2022, Ayb has been hosting SAT examinations. The SAT is an entrance exam used by most U.S. colleges and universities for admission. It is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board. The SAT aims to check whether a high school student is ready to enter a college and provide a universal data form to colleges to compare the knowledge of all applicants.
