Received a BA degree in history in 1997 and a MA in world history in 1999 from Yerevan State University.

Became Candidate of Historical Sciences in 2011 with the scientific paper titled Gnaeus Pompeius: a soldier and political figure (The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire)

Participant of the Hardt Foundation for the Study of Classical Antiquity program in Geneva, Switzerland in 2011-2012.

Founder and deputy chairperson of the Armenian Association of World History since 2013.

Participant of “Rethinking 1815: Teaching The Battle of Waterloo from Multiple Perspectives” seminar held by the European Association of History Educators in Belgium on February 12-15, 2015.

Visiting scholar at American University of Armenia since 2016.

Expert of Natural Sciences and Mathematics for Armenian Students program designed by Zaven & Sonia Akian College of Science & Engineering (CSE) in 2020.

Author of more than a dozen of scientific articles.
